Tidewater Cove
1

The complex was built in 2003 but the roofs didn’t last as long as they should have

2

We replaced a tan-colored 3-tab shingle with GAF Timberline Architectural shingles in two colors, Barkwood and Antique Slate

3

Original installation did not have continuous ridge vents — the new roofs will function properly and last twice as long or longer

4

There had been no drip edges or ice and water shield originally — we took care of that

5

The complex chose a total of 11 different colors for the new metal shingles

New asphalt shingles solve problems and refresh the entire complex

Ten years after this complex on Lake Lanier was constructed the roofing systems started to fail. There weren’t enough ridge vents and there were other major problems with the original installation that cut the roof life in half. Sentry Roof re-roofed all 28 buildings, replacing the 3-tab asphalt shingle roofs with architectural asphalt shingles. We also replaced the 47 metal awnings. Now, the complex looks new again.
