“I have worked with this roofing company for over 20 years. They are the only roofers I use on all my properties unless it is a big project which is then put out to bid. I certainly do my best to help them get the best bid if I can.
As soon as I get a property, they come out and do a roofing analysis for me and we immediately put the building on their yearly roof repair and maintenance program, Sentry Roof Care. Once a year, the analysis is redone and they recommend what work we need to do to keep the roofs in the best possible condition. This plan has been incredible as it has saved us so much money on repairs just taking care of the little things that could cause us bigger problems down the road. My roofs, no matter how old they are, are in excellent condition to withstand any kind of weather due to this once-a-year program. Their knowledge also warns us of any possible major problems that could occur down the road and try to head it off if we are not ready to replace a roof or do major work on it. They keep us on a schedule as best as possible.
As far as their service is concerned, one phone call and they respond instantly to the issue. They contact the tenant to make sure they know they’re coming to fix it and are on-site almost immediately. Once the problem is addressed, they check on it and take photos of the finished area to show us what they did and what it looks like. These are very valuable to us.
They are always helpful and courteous to us and our tenants. As I said, I think they are the best roofing company I have had the pleasure to deal with.”
“We’re a small firm so we’re selective and choose to work with nice people who know what they’re doing. Bill is very competent and knows where there may be issues, and he has so many people behind him to support the company — Dave, Jose, every person at Sentry Roof is capable.
At this point in time, there are a lot of trades people who handle materials and installation but we need to work with people who also thoroughly understand trim and detail work. There can be warranty issues using different teams. Sentry Roof is a one-stop shop.
The first project we worked on together was our own studio/residence — there was no Option 2. We used ourselves as guinea pigs! They did all the metal work across the front of the house, not just the soffits and roof. Next we worked on a charter school, which was challenging because there was a tight deadline and 13 little buildings with intricate brake metal work, including between all the doors and windows. They were able to provide whatever we needed. Dave Tidd was out there on-site with us, working out details that we hadn’t been able to cover in the design. That’s the benefit of having someone who’s more of a craftsman … keeping water out is not an easy thing. We need to produce well every time and working with people like them makes it easy.”
