We have been in business for more than 30 years and seek candidates who can fulfill the position of:
1) Commercial Roofers (entry to mid-level experience)
Duties include:
Installs roofs by laying out project, gathering materials, preparing and installing roofs, completing tests and inspection, following safety and code requirements, and maintaining equipment and tools. Gather roofing materials by calculating material requirements, loading and unloading roofing materials and equipment, securing delivery trucks, and operating lifting equipment. Prepares roofs by removing damaged materials, correcting structural insulation and waterproofing deficiencies, and protecting openings. Installs roofs by preparing roof decking, pouring, applying and laying insulation and waterproofing materials, identifying a starting point for shingles, sheets, and materials, placing roofing materials in sequence, attaching fastening devices, completing roof penetrations, installing flashings and locating drains. Maintains a safe and legal work environment by following safety procedures, hazardous material restrictions, and building codes, using personal protective equipment and clothing, and following proper procedures for using kettles, tankers, and ladders.
Skills/qualifications:
Demonstrates proficiency with equipment maintenance, power tools, basic safety, quality focus, teamwork, dependability; exhibits an exceptional work ethic; and is a drug free individual.
2) Service Repair Roofers
Duties include:
Repairs commercial roofs in the Atlanta Metro area. Calls customers in advance and works a scheduled route with a company vehicle. Is responsible for the maintenance of the company vehicle on a weekly basis. Completes repairs on customer job sites. Talks with customers and reviews work that needs to be completed. Takes pictures of work to be completed as well as completed roof repairs. Calls into office after completion of the repair and receives instructions for the next assignment needing to be completed. Turns in daily work orders with detailed information clearly documented.
Skills/qualifications:
Must have a clean driving record for the past three years — no DUI’s. Demonstrates customer service skills; is courteous, reliable and energetic; shows a capacity to learn and retain knowledge; believes in integrity; exhibits an exceptional work ethic; and is a drug free individual.
